A Youth Participation Event took place in Warsaw, Poland, in the form of a Youth Debate for Peace, involving 20 dynamic participants. The event aimed to cultivate a more vibrant culture of dialogue among young Europeans, empowering them to more effectively influence EU political and social leadership. The debate provided a platform for exploring how youth could actively engage in EU decision-making, particularly in relation to peace-building and public agendas. Participants delved into strategies for ensuring that youth voices were heard across local, European, and transnational levels, and discussed how Europe could centralize and unify policies to support peacekeeping efforts. This event focused on discussing with decision-makers how to co-create EU peace-making policies, emphasizing the need to enhance youth political participation. The lab provided a dedicated space for exploring strategies to increase youth involvement in political processes and foster active engagement across Europe, aligning with the objectives of #YouthGoal9.

A Youth Participation Event took place in Bucharest, Romania, featuring a Reconciliation Simulation Game with 20 participants. In this interactive event, the “Youth PeaceBuilders” assumed the roles of Peace Ambassadors, representing democratic institutions and simulating the roles of decision-makers from their home countries. The game was designed to highlight and address the need to enhance youth skills in public policy-making.
Throughout the simulation, participants engaged in realistic scenarios that tested their ability to navigate complex policy issues and collaborate on solutions. The exercise aimed to bolster the public policy-making skills of young people, preparing them for more effective roles in shaping future policies and contributing to peace and reconciliation efforts. This event provided a valuable learning experience, equipping youth with practical insights and strategies for active participation in democratic processes.
Description of the Youth Participation Mobility in Poland
A Youth Participation Mobility was conducted in Warsaw, Poland, featuring a Youth Citizens Workshop aimed at youth. The workshop, which included 50 participants, focused on developing Youth Advisory Committees to foster peace, inclusion, and active participation among young people. The event provided an in-depth exploration of how to create and sustain effective advisory committees that empower youth to contribute meaningfully to decision-making processes.
During the workshop, participants engaged in collaborative sessions to design strategies and share best practices for establishing and managing these committees. The goal was to enhance the capacity of youth workers to facilitate youth engagement and ensure that young voices are represented in discussions and initiatives related to peace and inclusion. This mobility served as a crucial platform for building skills and networks that support a more inclusive and participatory approach to youth involvement in various spheres of society.

A Youth Participation Mobility took place in Bucharest, Romania, through a specialized training for youth, attracting 50 participants. The training focused on strategies for effectively engaging youth and fostering a peaceful and participatory Europe. Sessions included practical workshops and discussions aimed at equipping youth workers with the skills and knowledge necessary to involve young people more actively in democratic processes and peacebuilding efforts.
